Hunter Family Photos.
Up the River Clyde from Greenock looking to Glasgow.


The Montcalm which took Etta Hunter (1906) from Greenock, Scotland to Canada. She then took the train to Salt Lake City, Utah to join her sister Jenny and family.

From this end of the cottage can be seen the grove of trees where the family went to get their water. There is an old town pump at the town crossroads. The cemetery had Prasha names.

The surname Prasha has variants--Presho, Prasha, Prasher, Preshaw, Presha,

Robert Prasha (1867), son of Charles and Agnes Prasha. Died in 1920 after military service in the Far East. His regiment, the 91st and 92nd were in Kandy and Columbo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) in 1885 to 1888 where this photo was taken.
